Seen at a local Walmart here in Phoenix — the line of people waiting for the ever-exclusive Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3)…

You know competition is getting serious when the OTHER group of people with Too Much Time On Their Hands^TM realizes that they can supplement their retirement funds with eBaying a PS3 for $10,000.

Too bad they’re not in a line for the Nintendo Wii. Fastest path to early grave = old heart while trying not to be a toolbox.

(Actually, the line is on the other side of the entrance, surrounded by far too many carts for Walmart’s own good, filled with plenty of early 20s male profit-seekers who will be highly disappointed come midnight tonight due to lack of PS3 availability beyond a select few.)
